Side Boot Cowl fabrication

I started to work on the boot cowl installation today. I began with the two side boot cowls as I need a second piece of aluminum for the top section. I located the position of each side boot cowl on the airframe and trimmed the slots for the door hinges. As I roughed in the slots, I also made a couple of bends for the upper and lower corners of the boot cowl by simply forming the aluminum over my knee. The pieces are oversized front and back which I won't trim off until after all holes are drilled. I won't drill any holes in the side pieces until I do lay out the top section (2 pieces) thus permitting a consistent layout of all faster holes.
