I started to fill in the porosity in the foam mold using bondo. It was quite easy to apply and was drying quickly. After it cures, I'll sand it smooth and fill in any imperfections, continuing this process until I achieve the correct contours I want for the transition from outer surface of nose bowl into the new inlet areas. 

When that has been accomplished, I will coat the bondo with mold release, then lay up the new fiberglass.
