Wing fuel tanks and plumbing
I have completed fabricating the tank hold-down straps and located the holes for the fuel fittings. I plan to use electronic fuel level sensing units in lieu of the sight gage. I will also be installing fuel vent lines connecting each wing tank (main and aux) to each other and to outside air via a vent fitting that will be located on the lower skin out near the wing tip.

Fuel line roughed in to location of fuel transfer pump.

Fuel line routed down center of wing.

I fabricated brackets to hold the fuel lines. These brackets will be riveted to the wing ribs.

Installed string to check clearance between fuel line and control cable.

At inboard end the fuel line will need to be routed over or under support rod. On my plane I have converted to electric flaps so I don’t have to contend with the flap return springs that would normally be in this space.
