Pitot Tube installation

After installing the pitot tube mast I continued with the installation of the pitot tube itself per the Dynon instructions by drilling and tapping two screw holes into mount lugs for the tube, I used a 6-32 tap and secured the pitot tube into the mast. I had to shorten the aluminum lines for both the pitot and AOA to allow proper clearances inside the wing. After routing the two plastic lines through the conduit, I connected them to the pitot tube with adapters purchased through Stein Air rather than flare the aluminum tubes for B-nut installation.

Next, I fabricated a mount for the pitot heat controller and placed it on the wing rib close the access panel. With all component placements, I pay close attention to how I will perform maintenance on each item in the future should it become necessary and locate these components for the best access possible.
