Log: Rudder setting trailing edge / Horizontal Stab beginning steps
Pro-seal goodness
I spent some time today sealing up the trailing edge of the rudder with proseal. I took a long time setting it up as I wanted it to be as strait as I could get it. Time well spent I think. Since you are blind riveting the ribs together at the same time you have proseal on the trailing edge I had my wife help me. It went very smooth with her help. When this was done I started into the reinforcing brackets for the horizontal stab spar.

If you look close you can see a bit of proseal oozing out of the edge into the rudder.

Beginning the fabrication of the brackets for the horizontal spar reinforcing brackets.

Weighting the edge so it sets strait.

Nice and strait trailing edge.
