Rudder corrected seating of hinge bracket 3
One foot of this bracket was distinctly off 90 degrees, placing a noticeable strain on the spar channel. I deriveted, jigged and adjusted the bend to 90 degrees for a better seating. In doing this I noticed the gap between the two pieces opening slightly. The bending operation was clearly deforming the original rivets slightly, despite best efforts. I deriveted the two alodined pieces and re-riveted with 4mm rivets and duralac, then re-attached. The press-fit bearing appeared solidly in place.
