Right wing leading edge cut landing light cutout
I decided I wanted landing lights on both wings. Although not required by the regulations, even if this aircraft eventually becomes IFR rated, I prefer the look and the better lighting pattern overall. I am using the GoodiesForPilots PAR36 LED lights, as supplied by TAF in their factory built aircraft.
I have on order from TAF the interior components, but I needed to make a cutout in the right-hand leading edge skin. I have confirmed that this cutout is an exact mirror image of the left hand leading edge cutout. I have deferred making the #40 and #30 holes for the ribs etc. until I have these parts in hand, although I expect these to be also a perfect mirror image as well.
No room for stuff-ups. Mission accomplished.
