Close up left fuel tank
Left fuel tank was closed up. Some sealant was placed around the B-nuts of the AN6 fuel inlet and AN4 fuel overflow fittings. As previously I did not use 577 on the threads, as there is the whole issue of the all-aluminium environment causing uncertain activation. Used without activator, the 577 shows no sign of hardening on a threaded anodised aluminium nut even after 4 days. I do have some 7471 activator, but decided against this path. Instead I am relying on the 120 in-lbs torqueing of the AN6 fuel inlet flare and the 60 in-lbs torqueing of the AN4 fuel overflow flare to keep things together in the long term. As stated above I smeared some sealant around the nut/fitting region anyway.

With 577 but no activator, these will not lock even after 4 days
