Initial work on fibreglass wingtip fit

The Rev 0 fibreglass tips fit quite well. Being rev 0 they lack the bumps for mounting the nav light/strobes. I will use casting gel to either make an impression from an actual rev 1 wing, or from similar bumps formed from wood or clay. This mould will then be used to make bumps from either epoxy/flock or polyurethane.

The wingtips are a little short on the tailing edge, where they meet rib 8. I have epoxy and cotton flock on order as recommended by Sling.

Some filing and sanding of the frontmost tips of these wingtips was also needed to get a best fit into the leading edge, using straps to force the tips forward. Some patching with resin and fibreglass tape, and or resin and cotton flock will be needed here.

One of the wingtips was trimmed incorrectly, resulting in insufficient margin between the rivet holes (as determined from an optimal fit) and the fibreglass edge. I plan to use epoxy and fibreglass cloth to build this back up.

I noted the topside transition from the leading edge to skin 5 had a but of a step. This was filed back and smoothed.

Also the trailing edges of the wingtips are too thin and do not match - in thickness - the tail of ribs 11. These will be built up with flock and resin.
