Create aluminium elevator and rudder fastening strips
I thickened the tip edges with two extra layers of fibreglass weave, as with the wingtips, with the idea of making them withstand rivet tail setting forces without crumbling. In the event I have used aluminium strips.

Strips being prepared from 0.63mm 6061-T6

After aligned drilling and scrubbing. The holes were matched drilled to the holes already made in the fibreglass tips, rather than the skin. This avoids a small error due to the radius of curvature of these strips being smaller than that of the skin
