Topcoat centre fuselage arch ribs

On advice from Stewarts, in the absence of a reliable means of measuring viscosity (the Ford #4 cups I bought from a paint shop were junk), a base/catalyst/water mix in a 4:1:0.85 by weight was recommended. This worked well for the fog coats, much better then when I did a 3:1:1 by volume. Orange peel was avoided during the fog coat build-up, although I did create a bit of peel in the final wet coat due to it being insufficient in places. I also had a problem with fibres and dust. Photos to be added later. My gun nozzle pressure was 26psi, line pressure 60psi, flow 1/2 turn for fog, 3/4 turn for wet, elongation set to about 50%. Stewarts's advice called for flow 1 turn for fog, 1.25 turn for wet and wide-open elongation, but this lead to excessive overspray and paint flow for this particular shaped and sized item.
