Test fit firewall

It is quite a challenge getting the firewall into place. The side skins are first clecoed to the bottom skin. The trick is the flex the centre of the bottom edge forwards so that the bottom corners are in position, guided by clecoes. The firewall is then progressively clecoed from the centre to the bottom firewall mounting channel CF-CHL-023 which is part of the floor assembly. This has the effect of forcing the firewall flat and the bottom forward regions of the side skins are flexed outwards. Eventually all the rivets and AN5 engine bolt holes line up.

Some further adjustment of the firewall tabs will be needed at the curved bottom corners - it is slightly tight. There is also some hole misalignment between the side skin holes and the holes of the firewall/cowling strips in this region.
