Straighten up edges of canopy frame
The bottom edges of the canopy frame, made from carbon fibre were somewhat wavy. I wanted to clean this up a little, while removing a minimum amount of material. I noticed there was a definite trend in the available width of material, between the inside corner and the flange. On both sides, there was 47mm of material at the front and 49mm of material at the rear. Ideally this number should be the same, and both considerably larger, like 55mm to more fully cover the bottom of the slider rail structure.
But the trend is what it was, and I certainly did not want to pursue uniformity at the expense of cutting 2mm of material from the rear. So I laid a ruler along the edge, set to 47mm at the front and 49mm at the rear. Some bumps could be seen to protrude along the length, up to 1.6mm on one side, but mostly no more than 0.5mm in places. Some similar undercut was also accepted.
