Wing Construction
Installing Access panels and hardware.
Here are some pictures of my Pulsar’s wing construction. You can see the access panels I am installing. There weren’t any in the kit manufacturer’s build manual and that didn’t sit well with me. So, I elected to add two on the underside of each wing where the flap and aileron mechanical hardware is located. These are items that MUST be inspected during every preflight.

I took the left over Finnish Birch wing skin and cut out the size I wanted to make the access panels and epoxied them to the aluminum you see in the photograph. I predrilled, counter sunk the holes and installed nut plates for attachment of cover plate. The aluminum also brings the structural strength requirement past what is required for load limits.
