Loooong time without any updates, but I have been working! Time spent is an estimate, but it’s been a lot. I did all the work on the rear canopy, finished the main canopy frame, and have started shaping the front canopy

The rear canopy went ok, with a couple exceptions. A few holes cracked along the rollover structure. Two of these were stop drilled and filled with plastifix, while the other two were filed out. On one hole, the tap broke off and I wasn’t able to extract it. I ground it down flush and drilled on either side instead. The extra hole is also filled with plastifix.

For the canopy frame, my first attempt was very twisted. I drilled out most of the pull rivets and reset them, using my kitchen island as a level surface. After that almost all twist was removed, and with the canopy in place it sits really nicely.
