Started pitot installation and completed some minor installations
Riveted the pitot regulator control unit brackets in place and test fitted the control unit.
Trimmed pitot and AoA tubes to length. In hindsight, it would have been better to simply cleco the pitot brackets in place whilst working out how to connect the pitot tubing, bend and cut to length. I should have done that, then riveted the main pitot bracket to the support brackets and finally the support brackets to the main spar. I did it in reverse which has made things really difficult due to the tight working area.
Tried to flare the pitot and AoA connector tubes by practicing on the offcuts first - luckily I did so, the tool I bought (which had 5-star ratings) did a terrible job, the retention mechanism damaged the pipe with thread-like striations and an odd crimp on the underside of the flared area, and the flares themselves were of very poor quality. I've ordered another tool from the US and will try again.
Ran the pitot and AoA pneumatic lines from the wing root to the pitot. Created some labels for the various tubes.
Riveted right fuel tank rib 1 in place - not sure why this was not done ex-factory as part of the tank quick-build process. Located the "missing" CHL 18 parts which were cable-tied to rib 1. I was able to install the brackets on both wings and re-install the AN3 bolts and torque to 2.7nm. Installed 1x933 rivet per the KAI as well.
