Primering fuselage components, riveting fuselage ribs and final riveting right flap and aileron
Primered various fuselage components.
Stripped and re-primered one of the rear fuselage skins.
Completed fuselage ribs 3, 5 and 8. Left some rivets out of rib 3 as per online video guidance - the manual does not call this out, but it is necessary for fitment of the luggage compartment bulkhead skin which gets fitted later in the build process. Then I completed the rear fuselage assembly 1. Torqued the AN3 bolts to 2.7nm and applied torque seal.
Riveted the right wingtip in place.
Bolted the right wing flap and aileron in place using the same washer set up as the left wing, then final riveted them - alignment is great from the wing root all the way through the flap and aileron. The right wing tip will need to be removed since the trailing edge alignment is worse than on the left wing and can't be fixed as easily. Inspection will be required and corrections made as appropriate before reinstalling it. So close to completion of the wings!
