Installing some control eyebolts and shaped firewall cowling fastener strips
Installed 2x left-hand eyebolts on the short elevator torque tube (no grease nipples and will be relatively inaccessible, so I've put the right-hand eyebolts on the other ends which are hopefully more accessible with their grease nipples facing up). Installed 3x right-hand eyebolts on the long elevator torque tube and 2x left-hand eyebolts on the joysticks for the elevator pushrod.
Torqued to 7.6nm and applied torque seal.
Shaped firewall cowling fastener strips and spacer strips and dimpled as necessary (this was a problem - dimpling is not called out in the KAI, so I had gone ahead and primered them. Bending to shape and dimpling damaged the primer, so I had to strip them and re-paint - I chose to rather use heat-resistant silver to match the front of the firewall).
