Firewall rivnuts and preparation
Fitted the M4 and M5 rivnuts to the firewall after applying Loctite 277.
Drilled an 11mm hole for the propeller control cable (to match the hole size for the throttle cable) approximately 20mm below the hole for the throttle cable. Reviewed the Rotax 915iS engine installation manual and determined that the propeller governor is installed on top of the engine at the rear of the gearbox, so the firewall hole location makes sense and works well to keep the cable out of the way of the interior components too.
