Heat and fire sleeves, front top skin installation
Installed heat shield around radiator water pipes
Installed interior heater cable after trimming it by approximately 350mm and re-making the z-bend on the end of the cable
Cut a length of fire sleeve, then cut it lengthwise to form a wide strip. Wrapped power and avionics cables at the firewall passthrough and then secured the passthrough brackets
Installed the CPC connectors for the wing wiring on the side skins after fabricating aluminium brackets to suit and riveting those in place
Primered and then reinstalled the avionics shelf support brackets
Fitted fiberglass the front top skin. The Sikaflex application was a bit of a disaster and despite applying a thin layer the aluminium side skin would not pull up against the fiberglass between the top rib 2 and the firewall, which left an unacceptably large gap. Will need to decide what to do
