Sanded rivet heads on underside of fuselage

Fabricated 3x wheel valve covers to be attached to the wheel spats. These were cut out of 3.2mm 6061 T6 aluminium to 60mm diameter by Send Cut Send and are installed using M3 rivnuts (with some fiberglass reinforcing) and stainless steel buttonhead screws. They replace the awful rubber grommets supplied by Sling which are nearly impossible to fit and completely impractical. I may replace the buttonhead screws with Philips heads to allow the use of a consistent tool as with the cowling camlocs
