Landing lights cutout
marked and cut out the landing lights opening at the end of the wing spar. First time to do that critical of a cut, came out pretty good but forgot to get a photo of it done. Used an air saw bought off Amazon, based on Eddie Gill’s how to video.
Here is the cutout completed (and primed). Bought an air saw just for this (yeah, new tool). Was nervous cause -main spar- equals no room for error, but it was pretty easy. Drilled the 4 corners per the template, then added an extra large hole per side for blade entry. An easier way would be to offset drill the 4 corners and enlarge the holes for blade access, an Eddie Gill video shows this, will try on the other side.
