Engine Mount and Gear Legs

Nose gear leg installed.

Here is how the main gear attaches in the fuselage. 1 bolt through the gear leg and the rest is held in place with brackets that sandwich the leg.

Both main gear legs installed. Can't wait to get her on the wheels. Have to wait for new hardware, the Van's bolts didn't work with the Beringer axles.

Left main gear done. A big accomplishment, some tight spaces to get everything installed and torqued.

It only took 5 guys and an engine hoist to get the plane on the sawhorses. Here my friend Mike is helping install the gear legs.

Here the Elastomer Pad is installed and once the airframe is lifed the nose gear can be installed.

Main gear legs, wheels and hardware all ready.

Here is the nose gear and tire assembly with hardware all ready to be installed. I have the Beringer wheels/brakes for my install.

Engine mount installed and torqued.
