Eliminating Ceiling Joggle, Modify Exhaust, Wheel Pants, Wing Angle
May 4 & 5, 2022

Making holes to mount the inside panel

The “skateboard” (ceiling panel that houses the vents for the back, lights and headset holders) doesn’t fit quite right in the joggle so the composite guys are going to eliminate it with glass flock

Made a jig to hold the flock in place while it dries

Sanding it down

Better look at what I was separating with the screwdrivers

Fitting wheel pants

Need to modify the exhaust - will add a new exhaust - separating the welds from the inside and outside

Peeling off the excess

We had to cut the inside panels to allow the seatbelt through and determine where the rivnuts and screws are best placed (some limitations due to the placement of the top box)

We put the wings on to ensure proper fit and discovered the angle of incidence was out a bit so replaced the aft brackets that hold the topbox to the pillar and it is bang on now
