Vertical Stabilizer

Rivnuts!

Started assembly of vertical stabilizer. Quite a long process due to the addition of rivnuts into the build. The center channel also had two holes which were misaligned from the factory which created problems on assembly. The assembly has several layers of material against each other and therefore the hole matching was crucial - watched the tutorial many times to understand the process. Ensured that the holes in outer layers of material were widened sufficiently to allow for M4 bolt to pass through at final assembly. Finally inserted all rivnuts successfully and cleco'd whole unit in preparation for riveting at a later stage. Next stage will be to dimple the skin -bearing in mind that there are 4 further rivnuts to insert once the skin has been riveted
