EAA Chapter 154 has been working on the CH701 project for the past two years, we received the kit wit wings and tail completed to pre-cover inspection stage but no fuselage work done. Working Saturday mornings and Wednesday evenings we have completed the fuselage, mounted the landing gear and hung the engine. The Subaru EA81 engine and re-drive that came with the kit has been set aside and a Viking 110 installed in it's place.

Currently waiting for the pre-cover inspection (a Canadian requirement) before we can close in the wings, fuselage etc.
