Vans Visit and Synergy Air Fundamentals Class

Took the 1 day Synergy Air fundamentals class Nov 2 in Eugene, OR. Flew up day prior to Portland then drove to Vans in Aurora for a factory tour and demo ride in their RV-14. Then down to Eugene for the class on Saturday. The class was $250. The extra money was for hotels, rental car and meals. The RV-14 ride was fantastic and everything I knew it would be. Perfect weather, plenty of stick time with Sterling, and very motivating. The Synergy class was time well spent getting acquainted with tools and techniques while building the Vans practice airfoil technique. Made many things clear and my learning curve was vertical. Still so much to learn and many mistakes to be made but it was a start.
