Machine Countersinking Day

Spent today countersinking most of the nearly 400 #40 holes in both stab spar flanges to accept the skin dimples. I rigged up a simple jig to hold the spars and bought a couple more clamps from HF to make it all work. IAW Section 5 I over drilled the countersinks by .007" to accept the dimples. It would have been nice to set up the micro-stop countersink tool once and drill all the holes but I found that with all the variables at play the tool needed constant adjustment and I had to pretty much measure every hole so it wasn't too shallow or too deep. It slowed progress down considerably. Was thankful for my recently purchased digital caliper that made the process easier. Another long and tedious task. Not complete yet but the majority are done.
