Tip Ribs And Top Skins

Busy day. Spent the morning helping my buddy Dan install a new O-390 in his RV-14A. The whole process went quick and we had it done in 90 minutes. It was motivating and educational for me. Came back to my shop and clecoed in the tip ribs and upper skins. Everything is fitting together well at this point. I did have a question regarding flange and skin overlap where the tip rib mates with the spar. It's not clear in the manual how the overlap is supposed to occur with 4 different surfaces. It could be done a couple different ways and things would still fit. I reviewed the VAF Forum and there were guys with similar questions but no definitive answers. I'm 99% sure I've done it correctly but took some photos and sent a detailed email to Vans tech support for confirmation.
