Trim Tab Complete And Parts Primer Ready

With my wife holding I was able to get the trim tab trailing edge double flush riveted without too much difficulty. The RV-14 elevator specific Avery dies made it pretty easy with the squeezer. I finished out the side closeout tabs with MK-319-BS pulled rivets. Oddly, although specifically called for in the plans they weren't included in the kit. Fortunately I had read ahead, saw they were needed and bought a pack of 50 from Van's a couple weeks ago. It's nice to have the tab complete and I'm generally pleased with the results. The trailing edge came out pretty straight, well within spec. I'm glad I used the Pro-Seal technique and will stick with it in the future. The rest of the day was spent prepping all internal structure of the right elevator for priming. I'll get it primed in the next session and can finally start assembling things. My plan is to build each elevator separately from start to finish vs building each simultaneously.
