Back To Work On Fuselage

Over the past couple of days I finished reviewing and inspecting the hundreds of construction steps needed to create the QB forward fuselage. I found no discrepancies and have a list of things that I need to accomplish before moving on to the next big step which is joining the aft and forward fuselage sections together. Today I started moving through the list of things to yet accomplish. First off was prepping the two fresh air vents ducts installed on either side of the fuse. The vents ducts terminate in adjustable eyeball vents. The ducts I had but the eyeball vents I didn't. They were not included in my fuselage inventory list but the plans indicate I should have them to accomplish the needed tasks. I sent an email to Van's asking if this was an oversite or if the eyeball vents are in the Finishing Kit which I don't have yet. Its not a big deal as final installation is not done till after the instrument panel is installed. I'll move on to other open items. One of these is torqueing some beefy AN-6 bolts (3/8") so a new torque wrench was needed for the 180 in/lbs. those bolts require. My small 1/4" torque wrench only goes to 150 in/lbs. I bought a 3/8" Tekton off Amazon since it has very good reviews and I'm pleased with my smaller one. Santa came early as I bought several other tools I've needed and they all arrived today. I got an entire numbered drill set from 1-60, automatic center punch and some offset crows feet for hard to reach nuts that are in the future.
