Fuselage Joining Complete

In anticipation of my buddy Dan coming over this morning I spent time yesterday prepping for all the steps we needed to complete on the fuselage. This included making sure I fully understood the plans, the order things needed to occur, tools required, rivet access for the bucker, etc. Thinking it all through yesterday paid off today. Dan arrived bright and early and we dove right in to riveting. The creeper I bought was invaluable since I spent a lot of time maneuvering on my back underneath with the gun for the many dozens of rivets there. And making sure Dan had good access, lighting and comfort inside the fuse made his job easier as the bucker. In the end we made quick progress, ended up with great results and has no issues. It feels good to have that fuselage assembly done and be able to move on to the next steps. I also made an appointment with a local EAA Tech Counselor to come out next week to inspect my progress to date. An extra set of experienced eyes is always appreciated. As a bonus I'm scheduled to fly in Dan's new RV-14A tomorrow morning.
