Fuel Senders

Worked on the float-type fuel tank senders. Checked continuity on both prior to install and both seems good. Each ranged from 30-247 ohms over their range of travel. Then fabricated the wire float arms per the template in the plans. They both came out nice and matched the plans exactly. Mounted them to the senders and then temporarily mounted the senders in the tanks to check for range of travel and clearance. There's supposed to be a min of 1/16" clearance from the floats to the top and bottom wing skins. Thanks to my borescope I can get in there and see. They clear the bottom skins but touch the top skins. I need to figure out how to eliminate that or determine if it's even a problem in the first place.
