Seatbacks Completed
Riveted the seatbacks and got them finished off. It's always satisfying to complete another section in the build manual. Riveting around the perimeter of the seatback was easy with the pneumatic squeezer. The hinge riveting in the center section was a 2-man job due to the thicker AN470-4-4 rivets needed. I ran over to my build buddy Craig's and we knocked them out quickly. I appreciated his help.
I created this simple jig to hold the seat vertically and secure while I riveted the perimeter.
Completed seatbacks in position.
Rear of the seats with the brace is position on the crossbar.
