Hannah's Starduster Too

Been a month already...

Well, it's already been a month since I last posted. Due to the pandemic I am not going back to class until July at the earliest (but probably September, I'm fully expecting them to cancel summer term). While this puts me on a 6 month delay to getting my A&P certificates, it does give me plenty of time to work on the Duster, even with me picking up some extra hours at work.

Went out to the hangar today to pick up a few things so that I can make a jig to build the lower ailerons while in quarantine. Dropped off my aileron spars and plans at a friends house so that he can cut the compound tapers for me. Hopefully in another week or so I'll be ready to start assembling them. Assuming the pandemic is passed by then, I start welding lessons in June and hope to complete tail surfaces this summer.
