Day 109

Got the underside of the right wing sanded and scuffed. All that is left for that wing is to final scuff around all the sides and corners, and it will pretty much be ready for paint. We still have the underside of the left wing to fill in the rivet heads with putty.

We also got the two flaps and two ailerons final sand and scuffed as well. They are ready for paint. (Other than the underside of one of the panels that somehow accidentally got a small dent in it. We were able to repair it though, thankfully. It just needs to be have the sand scratches primed out and sanded before it is painted.)

Now all that is left is the horizontal stabilizer, elevator and rudder to finish sanding, and most of our external parts (other than the vertical stabilizer and fuselage and associated parts) will be ready for paint. It’s very exciting.
