Day 217

Today we prepared the wheel spats for paint. We had previously fit the spars to the landing gear, but had not finished them yet. We enlarged the holes to the sizes of their respective mounting hardware. We have more m4 rivet nuts ordered and comping in, so we will install them when they come in. We then sanded the edges of the the backing panels to fit in the existing joggles and have a smooth appearance. Lastly we sanded and scuffed everything in preparation for paint.

The Spats and the lower motor cowling are the last of the small parts that need to be painted. Now that the spats are completed we can get those things painted.
