Day 232
Long-Range Fuel Transfer Switch
Today we worked on getting the Long-Range fuel transfer switch mounted and wired. We mounted the switch on the center console just below the fuel selector and near the pilots leg. After we got the hole made for the switch, and used m4 rivet nuts to mount it.
We then organized and ran the wires where they needed to go, as well as not interfering with anything else. We ran all the airframe ground wires to the ground bus and used a ring connector to hook it up. We will then run the power wire to the J-10 Pin 6 of the VPX. The timer programming switch we used Velcro to hold it just underneath the switch mount so that one could unscrew the plate and access the board. Then the pump power leads will go down to the pumps, and the pump ground wires will be mounted to the pump mounts.
