Windshield - Pt 2

I finished sanding/trimming the windshield ensuring I had a good fit all the way around the front of the windshield with minimum gap at the aft lower edges. I still have a little mismatch between the LH side of the windshield and the wing LE but I'll have to compensate for that with the wing-to-fuselage fairing.

After clamping the windshield securely in place I drilled the pilot holes through the plexiglass using a drill bit for acrylic, then stepped up both the tabs and the windshield to #30 holes. Although the holes in the windshield will be enlarged yet again (to avoid contact with the mounting screws), I held off on this step until I've completed the fairings securing the windshield in place.
