Engine Air Filter - Pt 5
After cutting the tabs (to permit the flange to lay flat on the curved section) I located the filter housing inside the cowl and drilled the mounting holes. The images show the housing cleco'd in place. I must say I really like the profile!
The next step is to fabricate the air filter retainers (to be located inside the filter housing) along with the screen that will be mounted on the outside of the air filter. The last step will be to fabricate the plenum that will flow the air coming in through the filter into the fuel servo.
