Finishing nose cowl composite
After fabricating the cowling, the nose bowl did not fit quite as cleanly as I wanted. I have been applying fiberglass filler and resins to fill in as necessary and clean up the lines. I had also deleted the two scoops on the sides of the cowling and applied filler to hide the rivets used in that deletion.
The scoops had been installed to supply air for cabin heat through shrouds over the exhaust mufflers but I am now switching to a electric heater which is combined with the air conditioner unit.
Finish work on LH side of cowling to clean up the joints between upper and lower cowlings. Also covered the rivet pattern from the scoop deletion.
