Incorrect bend of one of the spar doublers
One of the two horiz-stabiliser doubler brackets HS-BKT-001-X-A-0 has misplaced 4mm holes. The hole displacement - up to 3mm - is at first glance outside what I would be inclined to match drill, for such a load-bearing part. Photo shows part in context fully clecoed and lined up.
The mismatch seen is the doubler - looking through the perfectly matching skin and channel holes. The skin and the channel line up perfectly in the photo - as does everything else in the HS. I have fully clecoed the HS.
Only one doubler is affected. Everything matches up on the other side, and if I swap doublers, everything matches up on the side shown in the photo....
Photos show in various ways more clearly what the issue is: the approx 2-3mm positioning error of the bend in one of the doublers. The arrow markings identify the problem part.
TAF agrees and is supplying replacement doubler.
