Removed scratches from right hand rear spar channel

I am anticipating this will be ok based on similar situation in the empennage kit- but the wing kit Right Rear Spar Channel (WG-CHL-004-R-A-0, nominally 0.8mm) had a prominent scratch

right across and around the sides (so this preceded the metal being folded). The blue plastic was fully cut through and removed on one side of the scratch. 

I have used 800 grit in the region just enough to to sand out the scratch, the maximum thickness reduction is 0.025mm from a base of 0.815mm, or 3.1%. 

I would like to confirm that this spar is still a goer. Photos attached. I am optimistic since the tolerance on 6061-T6 sheet of this thickness is +/-0.051mm much greater than this reduction.
