VS rear structure rivnut loctite

Loctite 277 high strength was used. The M4 rivnut holes were drilled with a 15/16" (size A) drill after previously using a needle file starting with a 5mm hole. A 5.9mm bit was purchased for future work. No further preparation was applied to these holes, the interior surface was left bare. The front and back surfaces were left with their coat of EkoPrime intact. No loctite primer was used, as this contains copper. This is expected to make corrosion worse. It is assumed that the gold zinc passivation of the rivnut is sufficient to trigger curing of the loctite. It was also considered to apply alodine to the interior of these holes. For this purpose a bonderite M-CR-1132 Aero pen was bought. However the decision was taken to rely on the bond between the loctite 277 and the bare aluminium, as well as its own claimed anti-corrosion properties (if only from a good water and airtight seal)
