Wing root bottom skin and rear spar channel mismatch
A hole mismatch exist between the rear spar channel WG-CHL-004-L(R)-A-0 and the lower root skin WG-SKN-001-L(R)-A-2. This mismatch occurs 5 holes in from the root end of the spar channel. The mismatched holes are touching so a simple redrill into the rear spar channel would probably not be acceptable.
I plan to fabricate a doubler plate with 0.81mm thickness (same as rear spar channel) spanning 3 (or 5 holes) and install this on the inside of the spar channel flange.
Consultation with TAF confirmed the soundness of this plan, but indicated to use a double spanning 5 holes total (2 each side of the offending hole)
