Fabrication of custom pitot system parts

Custom parts were hand-fabricated with two categories

1) Midpoint supports for the pitot-tube tubing, as an alternative for the suggested cable-tie and plastic tubing. In particular I wanted the supports to direct the tubing slightly rearward where it meets the pitot couplings. This is because the pitot tubing has been bent in such a way as to allow extraction of the entire pitot and mast through the bottom skin. These supports also ensure that the pitot tubing will not make contact with the aileron pushrod. These mounts share rivet holes with the various wing stiffeners, which were removed.

2) A mounting panel for a possibly future pitot heat controller. M4 nutplates are provided to be compatible with both the Garmin GAP26 heat controller and the Dynon heated AOA pitot probe controller. Only six nutplates are needed as both units have the same width, very approximately and therefore can share two nutplates. The design and location of this plate is to permit retrofitting of the controller and its wiring via the small access port.
