Custom fuel bulkhead connector stabilisation clamps

TAF Safety Alert 5 calls for retaining strips to hold the fuel inlet grilles in place, and to stop them rotating. These strips were supplied in the kit and are shown below. The issue is these strips cover about 40% of the grille opening. Custom strips were therefor made to expose more of the grille, presumably allowing for a greater peak flow rate with less pressure drop.

I will pass this by Sling. There is also the matter of whether the lead-tin solder alloy will be a problem if it is in contact with the strip. I considered placing some tubing around the grille, but decided not to as this tube could displace causing a fuel blockage, or disintegrate creating a contamination issue. This grille will be immersed in fuel pretty much 100% of the time anyway. If some sore of galvanic reaction does occur, leading to an erosion of this strip, this process will be gradual and not lead to any of the above potentially catastrophic scenarios.
