Custom fuel return bulkhead connector stabilisation strap.
The right-angle AN6 fuel return bulkhead connector (the 912 iS demands AN6, the kit was originally supplied with AN4 but this was rectified by Sling) could also rotate if torqued incorrectly, potentially causing damage to the skin. A later version replacement fuel tank rib 1 had a hole present, suggesting the employment of some sort of strapping to prevent rotation of the connector. Nothing was documented so I went ahead and made one. It is designed with a 45 degree angle to provide maximal bracing against inadvertent torqueing of the connector. An additional rivet is provided in the stem of this strap to keep it together under load.
