Fuel tank pressure test rig
The fuel tanks are to be pressure tested to 0.1bar - using a water manometer. The 1.1m long U-shaped pipe arrangement will be just sufficient to measure this pressure differential between the tank pressure and the ambient. A dual setup was constructed to allow both tanks to be tested simultaneously. Equipped with AN6 flare fittings and taps, only a single connection to the tank is required. AN6 and AN4 end caps will block off the remaining tank openings. One of these manometers has been easily adapted to perform the pitot/AOA leak tests, being based on 1/4" BSP components with adapters as required
