Rerivet left wing skin - rear channel connection
I found the left wing picked up a little twist after the jigs were released. Although this was only about 0.2 degrees, I decided to do something about it. I noted I had rivetted the top skins to the rear channel with a little lateral forcing to achieve perfect rivet alignment. I also noted that did not do this with the right skin instead choosing to clean the 0.1mm or so misalignment on the 4mm rivet holes - and I had no such twisting problem. So all the 4mm rivets attaching the top skins to the rear channel as well as the 3.2mm rivets along the very rear edge of the top skins were removed - without incident. All the rivet tails were retrieved from inside the wing with the help of a magnet, and all tails were accounted for. That done, and allowing the wing to fully relax, I clamped and cleaned the 0.1mm or so misalignment that appeared as with the right wing. Reriveting was done without incident. On release from the clamps no twist occurred.
